Exchange-traded funds (ETFs), also known as transactional open-end index funds, index stock funds and exchange-traded funds, are open-end funds listed and traded on exchanges, with variable fund shares.
ETF funds generally adopt a passive strategy to track the market index of a certain target and invest in portfolio securities corresponding to a specific index, and their fund shares can be purchased, redeemed and traded through portfolio securities.
