Lingyun Cave is a fictional place in the novel, and the shooting location is Leshan Giant Buddha in Sichuan.
Leshan Giant Buddha is located on the side of Lingyun Temple on the east bank of Nanmin River in Leshan, Sichuan Province, near the confluence of Dadu River, Qingyi River and Minjiang River. Leshan Giant Buddha was excavated in the first year of Kaiyuan in Tang Dynasty (713) and completed in the 19th year of Zhenyuan (83), which lasted about 9 years.

Bu Jingyun and Nie Feng once fought on the giant Buddha, which was 71 meters high, 14.7 meters high, 1 meters wide, 1,51 buns, 6.7 meters long ears, 5.6 meters long nose and eyebrows, 3.3 meters long mouth and eyes, 3 meters high neck, 24 meters wide shoulders, 8.3 meters long fingers and 28 meters from knees to instep. On the cliffs along the river on the left and right sides of the giant Buddha, there are two stone carvings of the dharma king over 16 meters in height, which together with the giant Buddha form a pattern of one Buddha and two kings.
