Hengyang Teachers College, located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is a public full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It belongs to a high-level application-oriented college in Hunan Province and was selected as the first batch of new engineering research and practice projects of Hunan Provincial Planning Education Department. It is a member of the National Universities of Applied Sciences League.
The history of running a school began with the Hunan Guanli South Road Normal School founded by 1904. 1999 With the approval of the Ministry of Education in March, Hengyang Teachers College and Hengyang Education College merged to form Hengyang Teachers College.
In February, 200 1 year, the Third Normal School of Hunan Province merged. In 2006, the school completed the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level by the Ministry of Education with excellent results, and in May 200018, the the State Council Academic Degrees Committee approved the school as a master's degree awarding unit.
