Characters experience 1982 graduated from the Department of Chemistry of Tianjin Normal University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and in 20001and 2004 graduated from the School of Chemistry of Nankai University with a Master of Science degree and a Doctor of Science degree. 1987-200 1 successively served as a lecturer and associate professor in the Department of Chemistry and the College of Chemistry and Life Sciences of Tianjin Normal University, and became a professor in 2002.

The main courses undertake the teaching of "Fundamentals of Chemical Engineering", "Retrieval of Chemical Information Resources" and "Chemical Kinetics" in undergraduate and postgraduate education.

Research interests include bioinorganic chemistry, functional coordination chemistry, solution structure and enzyme simulation.
