At present, there are six universities in Jiaxing, namely, two Jiaxing colleges, Nanhu College of private undergraduate Jiaxing College, Dongfang College of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, Zhejiang College of Tongji University, Jiaxing Vocational and Technical College and Jiaxing Nanyang Vocational and Technical College.
1. Jiaxing University
Jiayuan is the only two universities in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province. Jiaxing College was established in March 2000 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. Jiaxing College was formed by the merger of Zhejiang University of Economics and Jiaxing College (predecessor of Huzhou Normal University).
2. Nanhu College of Jiaxing University
Nanhu College of Jiaxing University is an independent college with independent legal personality approved by the Ministry of Education in 2003, located in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province.
3. Zhejiang University of Finance &; Oriental College of Economics)
Oriental College of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics is an application-oriented undergraduate college with economic management as the main body and coordinated development of science, management, literature, art, law, science and engineering. It is a full-time undergraduate independent college approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government 1999 and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004.
4. Zhejiang College of Tongji University
Zhejiang College of Tongji University is officially approved by the Ministry of Education and jointly organized by Tongji University, Jiaxing Education Development Investment Co., Ltd. and Hongda Holding Group. It is an independent college with independent legal personality, and carries out full-time undergraduate education according to the new mechanism and mode.
