After the fund is established, you can start to open positions. The opening period of partial stock funds can be 3-6 months, and most foundations choose 3 months. The specific time depends on the prospectus of the fund.
During the period of opening positions, the stocks bought by the fund do not have to reach the lower limit of positions. After the end of the opening period, the stock position must at least reach the prescribed lower limit. For example, the lower limit of stock fund positions is 60%, and the lower limit of mixed partial stocks is 30%. The specific positions (including the upper and lower limits) shall be specified in the prospectus of the Fund.
If the market is in an upward trend, the new funds that have opened positions at this time are not as advantageous as the old funds. If the market is falling and will rise within 3-6 months, then the new fund with positions has an advantage over the old fund.
