Provisions on the management of foundation names
Article 1 In order to standardize the management of foundation names and protect the legitimate rights and interests of foundations, these Provisions are formulated in accordance with the Regulations on the Management of Foundations and relevant laws and regulations. Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to foundations established in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Foundations. Article 3 The name of a foundation shall reflect the business scope of public welfare activities.

The name of the foundation shall include the font size, the business scope of public welfare activities in turn, and end with the word "foundation".

No font size shall be used in the name of a public offering foundation. Article 4 A national public offering foundation shall use the words "China", "China", "National" and "National" in its name. Non-public offering foundations shall not use the above words.

Local public offering foundations and non-public offering foundations registered by the civil affairs departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government shall be crowned with the names of administrative divisions at or above the county level. With the names of administrative divisions below the provincial level, the names of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government can be used at the same time. If it is crowned with the name of the municipal district, it should also be crowned with the name of the city. Article 5 The font size of a foundation shall consist of two or more characters.

The foundation shall not use the surname or the name of the administrative division at or above the county level as the font size. Article 6 The name of a public offering foundation shall not be the name of a natural person, legal person or other organization. Article 7 The name of a non-public offering foundation may be the name of a natural person, a legal person or any other organization, but the following conditions shall be met:

(1) The use of the name of a natural person, the name of a legal person or other organization or the name of a shop name requires the consent of the natural person, legal person or other organization;

(two) shall not use the name of a natural person sentenced to deprivation of political rights for a crime;

(3) Generally, the names of party and state leaders and revolutionaries of the older generation are not used. Article 8 A foundation shall use the name of a deceased celebrity as the font size, and the celebrity must be an outstanding person who has made great contributions in related public welfare fields and enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad. Article 9 The name of a foundation shall be in Chinese characters conforming to national norms.

The name of the foundation registered in the civil affairs department of the people's government of the autonomous region may also use the national language commonly used in ethnic autonomous areas.

If the name of the foundation needs to be translated into a foreign language, it should be translated and used in accordance with the principle of text translation, and it is not necessary to report to the registration authority for approval. Article 10 The name of a foundation shall not contain the following contents and words:

(a) detrimental to the interests of the state and society;

(two) may deceive the public or cause public misunderstanding;

(3) superstition;

(4) Names of foreign countries (regions) and international organizations;

(five) the name of the political party, the name of the state organ and the number of the army;

(6) Names of other foundations;

(seven) foreign languages, Chinese pinyin, numbers;

(eight) prohibited by other laws and administrative regulations. Article 11 A foundation shall not use the following names:

(a) the name of the foundation whose registration has been cancelled by the registration authority and has not been registered for three years since the date of cancellation of registration;

(two) the name of the foundation that has been deregistered and has not been registered for three years since the date of deregistration;

(3) The name of the foundation is changed and it is less than 1 year since the date of registration of the change. Article 12 The registration authority may correct the name of an unsuitable foundation that has been registered. Article 14 The names of branches and representative offices of foundations shall be preceded by the names of the foundations to which they belong. Article 15 The name of a representative office of an overseas foundation consists of "the name of the foundation", "the name of the permanent residence" and "representative office (or office, liaison office, etc.)". ) "in turn.

"Resident name" refers to the name of the administrative division at or above the county level where the representative office of an overseas foundation is located.

If the name of an overseas foundation does not indicate its original place of registration (country or region), the name of its representative office shall be preceded by the name of its original place of registration (country or region).
