(1) Organizing and subsidizing friendly exchanges between Chinese and foreign people and twin cities exchanges, so as to enhance the understanding and friendship between the people of China and the people of other countries in the world;

(four) to commend and reward organizations and individuals that have made outstanding contributions to enhancing the friendship between the people of China and the people of other countries, safeguarding world peace and promoting social development;

(five) to carry out training to cultivate talents for China's folk diplomacy and modernization;

(six) to carry out exchanges and cooperation with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan;

(seven) to promote international cooperation and carry out consulting services;

(eight) to support the development of China's economy, culture, education, sports, health care, environmental protection and other undertakings;

(9) Helping the disabled, helping the poor and providing disaster relief;

(ten) according to the wishes of donors to fund and organize activities in line with the purpose of the foundation.
