Zhang Liqing is currently professor and dean of the School of Finance, Central University of Finance and Economics, director of the academic committee of the school, and director of the International Finance Research Center.

In 2009, he served as a distinguished researcher at the China Anti-Money Laundering Research Center of Fudan University and a part-time professor at Guangxi University.

He graduated from the School of Finance, Renmin University of China in July 2003 and received a Ph.D. in Economics; he has since taught at the Central University of Finance and Economics

School of Finance, selected for the 2008 Ministry of Education’s “New Century Outstanding Talent Support Program”, and researcher at the Institute of Finance and Securities, Renmin University of China.

His research areas include China’s capital market theory and practice, comparative financial systems, and China’s financial reform and development.
