The results of one fund practitioner qualification examination will be retained for four years. Even if you pass both subjects, you still need to apply to the Asset Management Association of China for fund practitioner qualification registration through your institution within four years. The prerequisite for practitioner qualification registration is that you pass both subjects. If you have not applied for fund practitioner qualification registration through an institution for more than four years, you need to make up the prescribed follow-up training hours in the last two years or retake the practitioner qualification examination before registration.

The first subject of the Fund Practitioner Qualification Examination is "Fund Laws and Regulations, Professional Ethics and Business Standards", the second subject is "Basic Knowledge of Securities Investment Funds", and the third subject is "Basic Knowledge of Private Equity Investment Funds". Among them, subject one is compulsory, while subject two and subject three are chosen based on the business the candidate is engaged in.
