During the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, social organizations in Guangzhou mobilized and participated in donations and materials to help fight the epidemic. Guangzhou Charity Association has received 97,935,400 yuan of anti-epidemic funds donated by the society, and the donated materials are valued at 35 19 1400 yuan. At the same time, social organizations in the city mobilized 6.5438+0.65 million volunteers to participate in community epidemic prevention and control, and opened 236 hotlines of "Guangzhou Social Workers Guarding Cotton Trees", providing consultation services to the masses for nearly 6.5438+0.85 million times.
In helping to return to work and resume production, Guangzhou Federation of Social Organizations took the lead in setting up a professional service group of social organizations "Warm Industry Helping Enterprises" to carry out online "cloud" recruitment and help more than 6,000 enterprises solve nearly 10,000 problems of returning to work and resuming production.
This year is the year of poverty alleviation. It is understood that Guangzhou will focus on helping the poor and continue to mobilize social organizations to participate. Among them, special actions will be carried out to support the construction of "three districts and three states", "social organizations help hundreds of villages", and hundreds of social organizations approach left-behind poor children "hand in hand" and "Yangcheng charity for the people" to gather the strength of social organizations in the city and build a public welfare brand with Guangzhou characteristics.
