Dean Ma: Born in June, 1946, 165438, from Jiande, Zhejiang Province, graduated from the English Department of Shanghai International Studies University in June, 1969, and studied at Beijing Foreign Studies University. 1March, 1973, joined Xinhua News Agency for international news reporting. 1975- 1977, majoring in southeast Asian affairs, School of Political Economy, University of London, UK.
