The main research fields are: Chongqing urban history research, Lu Zuofu and Chuanjiang shipping research, "Xiajiang people" and Chongqing urban social changes, western mainstream media and Chongqing image during the Anti-Japanese War, China news communication history, media and social research, and national and regional image communication strategies research.
