Ukraine's cooperation with the International Monetary Fund began with 1992 and12 June 1992. On June 2, 1992, the President of Ukraine signed relevant laws on Ukraine's accession to the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, international financial organizations, the International Development Association and multilateral guarantee institutions for international investment. Ukraine formally joined the International Monetary Fund.
