The 46th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Award was held in Taipei County Government Building on October 28th, 2009/KLOC-0. The host was Tao Jingying. The Golden Horse Award is a film award in Taiwan Province Province, which has the longest history in the Chinese language circle. Together with the Hong Kong Film Award and the Golden Rooster Award, it is also called the three highest achievements of Chinese films. As China, Chinese mainland and Hongkong did not set similar audio-visual products competition awards in the early days, the Golden Horse Award was founded at 1962, which was originally sponsored by the Information Bureau of the Executive Yuan of Taiwan Province Province, and later sponsored by the Taiwan Province Film Industry Development Foundation. At that time, it mainly publicized the film production in Taiwan Province Province and praised the filmmakers who made outstanding contributions to the film culture in China.
