If you subscribe for new shares on T day, you will know whether you have won the lottery after liquidation in the evening of T+1 (that is, the next day). If you win the lottery, the holdings will usually show the stock, and if you win the lottery, the brokerage firm will usually send you a text message or phone call to remind you.
, leaving enough funds to pay for new shares.
Since the new stock allotment system was adopted in 2016, the winning new shares purchased on T day will not be displayed in the stock position balance (before T+3). You can log in to your account through online trading or mobile software, and go to the new stock winning inquiry menu on T+2.
Check the status of winning the lottery; if the lottery is confirmed, please ensure that the account has a sufficient payment balance before 16:00 on T+2, and the system will automatically pay.
After completing the payment for the winning new shares, the balance of the successfully paid new shares will be displayed in the account at the end of day T+3.
Extended information: Since there are more people and money to subscribe for new shares, but the issuance quota is limited, it is impossible to obtain one share per person. Since the subscription is based on every 1,000 shares, every 1,000 shares is a subscription unit and you will get one.
After subscribing to allocate numbers, there will be a lottery. Investors compare the numbers. If there are some numbers, they will win, and if there are no numbers, they will not win.
Using the amount that can be issued/total subscription amount, you will get the winning rate of the new stock issuance.
The lower the winning rate, the less likely it is to win.
Funds are different from new shares. The issuance of new funds can be shared by everyone.
The calculation method of the winning rate is the same as above. Assuming that the winning rate is 10%, then if you invest 10,000, there will be 1,000 that can successfully purchase the fund, and so on.
