the fund center in the sap-FM module refers to the unit or department that can be responsible for the income and expenditure of funds. This is different from the concept of cost center or profit center.

conceptually, a fund center is not necessarily equivalent to a profit center or a cost center, but may be a collection of one or more profit centers and cost centers.
