The source of IDG's investment in Chinese mainland is basically the profits generated by its investment in it media in China. It is believed that due to foreign exchange control and other reasons, these profits cannot be taken away and can only be invested in the project again. This is also the difference between IDG and other large-scale venture funds-the latter mostly adopt private equity partnership system, and the funds are mainly obtained through private equity.
