Li Yaozi has made great achievements in America. In 1950s, he taught at MIT and entered the field of invention and innovation. In the 1960s, he participated in the human moon landing program. In the 1970s, he was appointed by the National Science Foundation of the United States to set up an innovation center to explore and train students to make inventions. In addition to scientific research and inventions, Li Yaozi also founded three companies. 1987 became an academician of the American Academy of Engineering.
