China's fund information disclosure system can be divided into four levels: national laws, departmental rules, normative documents and self-discipline rules.

(1) National laws on fund information disclosure

The regulation of fund information disclosure in China's laws is mainly reflected in the Securities Investment Fund Law which came into effect on June 1 2004.

(2) Departmental regulations on fund information disclosure

The departmental regulations on fund information disclosure are mainly embodied in the Administrative Measures on Fund Information Disclosure, which came into effect on July 1 2004.

(3) Normative documents on fund information disclosure

The normative documents of fund information disclosure are divided into three categories: the content and format criteria of fund information disclosure, the compilation rules of fund information disclosure, the XBRL index specification (classification) of securities investment fund information disclosure and related XBRL templates.
