Generally speaking, if patients fall into the following eight categories, they can apply for subsidies (the scope of enjoying medical assistance for serious illness is):
① urban and rural minimum living allowances;
② "three no people" in the city;
③ rural "five guarantees" object;
④ orphans in urban and rural areas;
⑤ key special care recipients in rural areas;
⑥ severely disabled people in urban and rural areas;
⑦ Other personnel with special difficulties in filing by the civil affairs department;
⑧ College students with financial difficulties.
If the patient has medical insurance, and the out-of-pocket part is still large after the insurance is undertaken, he can apply for assistance from the following aspects:
First, apply for temporary assistance from the people's government of the place where he is registered;
Second, apply for filling out a form in the civil affairs office of the people's government where the household registration is located to apply for social assistance funds;
Third, apply for charity assistance from the local charity.
