Sun Yat-sen used many names. 1924 Most of Sun Yat-sen's names were taken in Guangzhou to publicize the revolution or get rid of wanted criminals, and some of them expressed his life expectations.

Sun Yat-sen also used pseudonyms such as, Shanyue, Du Jiaruo,, Gao, Wuzhong, etc., as well as pseudonyms such as the son of Qi You, a competitor of the Central Plains, a pupil of Nanyang, and a champion of Nanyang.
