Cao Xuexue was born in Kaifeng, Henan in 1961.
Member of China Industrial Design Association, Henan Artists Association, Director of Yellow River Printmakers Research Association, Henan Printmakers Association, Guangdong Mechanical Engineering Association Industrial Design Association, currently teaching in the Industrial Design Department of Shanghai Second Polytechnic University.
He once served as the director of the Industrial Design Center of Guangdong Midea Group and the director of Guangzhou Xunxing Industrial Design Center.
During this period, a large number of household appliances were designed and produced huge economic benefits. Many of these products obtained national design patents.
The prints "Troublesome Years" and "Breast" were selected into the Henan Provincial Art Exhibition and won the first and third prizes. "Drunk Branches" was selected into the 10th National Printmaking Exhibition, and "Joyful" was selected into the 11th National Printmaking Exhibition.
In the printmaking exhibition, "Group of Paintings" won the Soong Ching Ling Foundation Award, and "Dream of Love" was selected into the art exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of Chairman Mao's birth. In 2003, he won the second prize in industrial product design in the Shanghai First Gray Collar Competition.
He once served as deputy editor of the professional textbook "Design Performance".
A large number of art works and many design papers have been published in professional publications.
He has been included in the "Who's Who of Chinese Contemporary Artists", "The World's Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphers and Painters", "The Who's Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters" (Hong Kong Nanyang Publishing House), "Henan Artists' Guide" and "Chinese Design Institutions and
Designer Recommendations" and other large art dictionaries.
