Input cost is how much money you bought a fund, and the share you hold represents the number of rights and interests you have in the fund. The share multiplied by the net value of the fund unit is the value of the fund you have.
You can also use stocks as an example. For example, if the stock price is 3 yuan, you buy 100 shares, and 300 yuan. 100 shares is the holding share, and 300 yuan is the principal.
