From then on, he stayed indoors and studied hard, often reading late into the night, and sometimes he was so tired that he dozed off and wanted to sleep.
He prepares an awl, and when he dozes off, he stabs his thigh with it. In this way, I suddenly feel pain, make myself awake, and then insist on reading. After studying hard for several years, I mastered a wealth of knowledge, lobbied again, and finally became a great strategist with high reputation.
2. Kuang Heng who stole the light from the wall
In the Western Han Dynasty, there was a great scholar named Kuang Heng in Donghai County. He has read a lot of books and is very knowledgeable. But his success is not because he is a genius, but because of his persistence and diligence. A small hole was dug in the wall. When the neighbor was lighting a lamp, candlelight came through the hole, so he read a book with the light coming in. Therefore, Kuang Heng cherishes the rare reading opportunities.
3. Che Yin
Che Yin, whose name is Wuzi, is from Nanping, Shanxi Province (now Anxiang and Jinshi). Che Yin studied tirelessly since childhood, but because of his poor family, he had no money to buy lamp oil to study at night. I caught dozens of fireflies and put them in the house, which really lit up a lot. In this way, Che Yin studied hard, and finally became a very learned man. He worked as a prefect of Xing Wu, a general of the auxiliary countries, and a minister of the Ministry of Finance.
4. Zu Ti and Liu Kun, who heard the chicken dancing
When the chicken crowed, Zu Ti and Liu Kun got up and came to the courtyard, drew swords and danced together, and didn't rest until the dawn. Later, Zu Ti and Liu Kun tried their best to recover the north and made contributions. And the story of their early years hearing chickens dancing has become a household name.
5. Mo Chi and Wang Xizhi
Wang Xizhi was a great calligrapher in the Jin Dynasty in China 16 years ago, and was praised as a "book saint". There is a Mo Chi in Jiezhu Temple, West Street of Shaoxing City, which is said to be the place where Wang Xizhi washed his pens. Wang Xizhi practiced calligraphy at the age of 7, and was diligent and eager to learn.
At the age of p>17, he stole his father's previous calligraphy works and read them. When he was ripe, he practiced writing. Every day, he sat by the pool and washed his pen in the water. After that, all the water in the pool was washed dark. This is the legendary Mo Chi that people saw in Shaoxing today.
