People who study Buddhism at home can't raise chickens if they get the Bodhisattva amulet. People who study Buddhism at home will be disciplined in several different situations:

Learn from Buddhism and believe in Buddhism, but there are no three conversions-you can raise chickens.

Learning Buddhism and believing in Buddhism have officially converted to three-you can raise chickens.

Learn from Buddhism and believe in Buddhism, and have received five precepts-you can raise chickens, but you can't kill them.

Learn from Buddhism and believe in Buddhism, and have been forbidden by Bodhisattva-you can't raise chickens and kill chickens. But you can take in "stray chickens" and stray cats and dogs, because this kind of take-in is not for business.
