On September 11th, 1934, He Jishan was born in Liuyang County, Hunan Province, originally from Xiangxiang County, Hunan Province. When he was 6 years old, he had just finished the second grade of primary school, and he wandered around with his parents because of Japanese aggression.
In p>195, he spent a semester in Yunlu Middle School in Changsha, and was forced to drop out of school because of the lack of family life. Two years later, he went to Xiangdong Tungsten Mine to engage in ore inspection, which brought opportunities for later exploration and prospecting.
in p>1956, inspired by China's call to March into science and technology, He Jishan was admitted to the Geophysical Exploration Department of Changchun Institute of Geology, majoring in metal physical exploration.
In p>196, He Jishan graduated from the Geophysical Exploration Department of Changchun Institute of Geology and was assigned to teach in the Geology Department of Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (now Central South University).
In p>1975, he published his first paper "Terrain Correction by Resistivity Method", aiming at the "Terrain Correction by Resistivity Method" which had great influence in China. Subsequently, he put forward the "dual-frequency IP theory" and began to develop dual-frequency IP instruments.
In p>1978, his research on eliminating interference anomalies by resistivity method won the National Science Conference Award. "Research on Several Problems of Inference and Interpretation by Direct Current Method" won the Achievement Award of the former Ministry of Metallurgy.

in September, 1995, at the invitation of Iranian Ministry of Mines and Metals, He Jishan went to the mine to conduct a comparative test with his invented "dual-frequency IP instrument", which was a complete success. An Iranian researcher named "Elaz" made a special trip to Central South University to study for a doctorate.
in p>1996, He Jishan stepped down as vice president of Central South University of Technology and became the chairman of Hunan Science and Technology Association. Since then, he has devoted himself to transforming a series of high-level scientific research achievements into productive forces.
In p>1997, the scientific research group directed by He Jishan cooperated with Xiangxi Gold Mine in Hunan Province to carry out the "Geological and Geophysical Prospecting Research on the Deep Edge of Xiangxi Gold Mine", which successfully proved that the deep gold mine can be mined for 34 years, antimony mine for 43 years and tungsten mine for more than 2 years, greatly alleviating the resource crisis of this mine. The following year, he and several academicians initiated the establishment of the Fellowship of Academicians in Hunan to make suggestions for Hunan's economic development.
At the end of p>1998, He Jishan and his assistants went to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with their own "CT" geological instruments. In more than 2 days, four excellent wells with clear springs were quickly drilled in four places, such as the farm designated by the President, the Prime Minister and the mayor of Ain, and each well produced more than 2, tons of water day and night. It caused a sensation in the United Arab Emirates and was highly valued by the country's president.
in early p>1999, He Jishan put forward the "flow field method" and developed the world's first instrument to detect dam leakage and piping, which was rated as one of the top ten scientific and technological progress projects of China universities in that year by the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education.
In the spring of p>2, He Jishan completed the scientific research project "Study on Detecting Dam Leakage and Piping in Flood Season by Flow Field Method", which made great contributions to flood control and disaster relief. In the same year, with the care and support of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Hunan Provincial Party Committee, Hunan Provincial People's Government and relevant departments, he founded Jishan Physical Exploration High-tech Company in Hunan.

The foundation's funds are mainly used to support and reward teachers, students and employees who have made contributions to teaching, scientific research and high-tech development; Funding scientific research projects and social welfare activities beneficial to national construction. In addition, He Jishan also donated 1, yuan to set up a "dual-frequency IP" scholarship to encourage students to contribute to the prosperity and development of geological science.
in June, 26, at the 13th Academician Conference of China Academy of Sciences and the 8th Academician Conference of China Institute of Engineering, He Jishan was elected as the director of the Energy and Mining Engineering Department of China Institute of Engineering, and won the 6th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award. In June of the following year, it was awarded the title of party member, an excellent Hunan province.
In his later years, He Jishan continued to contribute to his hometown. Since 211, He Jishan began to conceive "Development and Utilization of Green Energy in Hunan", and campaigned for the development of new energy. In 212-213, He Jishan led a research team to sample and test biogas in Dongting Lake Basin, focusing on the exploration and development of shale gas in Hunan Province, and put forward the strategic idea of "gasifying Hunan", which won the title of "the father of shale gas in Hunan".
