The Central Geological Exploration Fund is managed and supervised by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Land and Resources. The two departments jointly form the Central Geological Exploration Fund Leading Group, which serves as the deliberative body for the management of geological exploration funds and coordinates and guides the management of geological exploration funds. Under the personal care of the leadership of the State Council, the Office of the Central Organization Establishment Committee approved the establishment of the Central Geological Exploration Fund Management Center of the Ministry of Land and Resources (hereinafter referred to as the "Fund Management Center") with the document of the Central Organization Establishment Committee [2007] No.50. The Fund Management Center is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Land and Resources, entrusted by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Land and Resources, and is responsible for the organization, implementation and daily management of the Central Geological Exploration Fund. The Fund Management Center has 30 financial subsidies and was established on September 25th, 2007.
