Kuang Xiaoqing, 1929, was born in Huashan Town, Huadu City, Guangdong Province (now Huadu District, Guangzhou City), a Hong Kong entrepreneur and the wife of Guo Desheng, the founder of Sun Hung Kai Properties. Ms. Kuang Xiaoqing believes that to develop the economy of her hometown and improve the lives of the villagers, she must do a good job in education and improve the cultural quality of the younger generation, so she is determined to establish first-class schools and train talents for her hometown.
1992 She donated Kuang Memorial Middle School in her hometown in the name of Guo Desheng Foundation. From the site selection to the school construction, she and her younger brother, Mr. Kuang Zhun, personally asked questions, made many field visits and put forward many specific opinions, demanding high standards, high starting point and high quality construction.
