What is a community public welfare picture library?
In order to meet the needs of parents in China, enhance parents' concept of parenting education, and let more families and children benefit from parent-child reading and feel the fun brought by picture books, "Ceng Minjie Yang Haolian Love Fund" relies on the Women's and Children's Activity Center of Beijing Women's Federation to establish the "Community Public Welfare Parent-child Reading Picture Book Library" project in various communities in Beijing (see Annex II), and plans to hold the first Beijing Parent-child Picture Book Festival in Beijing from May 25th to 27th.

The community public picture book library project is a long-term public welfare project, relying on the Beijing Women's Federation Women and Children Activity Center, covering the whole city. After preliminary research and preparation, the project will be officially launched during the Picture Book Festival on May 27th.

The purpose of establishing community public library is to provide high-quality hardcover children's books for community children (including migrant children) who have no access to high-quality books and no one reads them regularly, to provide reading training for these children and their parents, to promote China's family parent-child reading concept, to cultivate family early reading habits, and to introduce international professional parent-child reading concept and training system into China. Through the channel of community women's and children's activity center, we will carry out localization promotion practice, train professional picture book readers to speak and read picture books in the community, and cover and benefit families of children aged 0- 12 around the picture book library.
