Germany is the European country where China sends the largest number of students abroad.

At present, there are more than 12,000 Chinese students studying in Germany. China accounts for 13% of the 500 scholarships provided by the German Humboldt Foundation every year, ranking first among all countries.

Nearly 87 universities in Germany have established inter-school relations with nearly 200 colleges and universities in China.
