He presided over more than ten major national science and technology projects, 973 sub-projects, 863 projects, National Natural Science Foundation, National New Drug Research Fund of Ministry of Science and Technology, and Chongqing major science and technology project "New Drug Creation", and creatively applied affinity sensor technology to drug screening and peptidoglycan (PGN) anti-endotoxin /LPS. Over the years, 140 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines have been screened out, and more than a dozen active components with anti-LPS and/or CpGDNA effects have been directionally isolated from them, which have been used as lead compounds to develop new anti-sepsis drugs.
