China Mobile Charity Foundation is a non-public offering foundation initiated by China Mobile Communications Co., Ltd., with an original capital of 654.38 billion yuan, and the competent business unit of the foundation is the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Its purpose is to support and carry out charity, promote the construction of a harmonious society and promote sustainable development. The business scope is to help the social vulnerable groups and carry out charitable causes such as teaching assistants, environmental protection and emergency donations for major emergencies.
At the ceremony, Li Zhengmao, vice president of China Mobile Communications Corporation and vice chairman of China Mobile Charity Foundation, and Zhang Baoqing, chairman of China Education Development Foundation, signed the first large-scale cooperation project after the establishment of China Mobile Charity Foundation-China Mobile Education Donation Promotion Plan. China Mobile will donate 35 million RMB, and plans to build 500 multimedia classrooms and 500 love libraries for poverty-stricken areas in the central and western regions in three years, and train 3,300 primary and secondary school principals.

In his speech, Vice Minister Li Weihong of the Ministry of Education spoke highly of the achievements of China Mobile's donation project for rural primary and secondary education in the central and western regions. It is understood that in order to support the development of rural basic education and improve the educational conditions of rural primary and secondary schools in poverty-stricken areas in the central and western regions, China Mobile has fulfilled its core values and social responsibilities with practical actions. China Mobile donated 20 million yuan to the Ministry of Education, and jointly organized and implemented the "China Mobile Love Library (Room)" project with the Department of Basic Education of the Ministry of Education and the China Development Foundation. From 2006 to 2008, China Mobile donated 1000 "China Mobile Love Library (Room)" to rural primary and secondary schools in poverty-stricken areas in the central and western regions.
In the construction of the "China Mobile Love Library (Room)" project, China Mobile has also extensively carried out employee love donation activities within the enterprise, organized love volunteers to screen, organize and transport books, and the provincial company has also specially purchased some bookshelves, tables and chairs and posters for the love library, made exquisite bookmarks, helped the school to classify books in detail, and helped the school to formulate a series of management measures such as relevant regulations on book use. The love and meticulous work spirit of the floating population in China are passed on to the children through every book, which fully embodies the excellent moral character and attitude of the floating population in China to contribute to rural primary and secondary education in poverty-stricken areas in the central and western regions.
At present, the "China Mobile Love Library (Room)" project has donated "Love Library" 1 0,000 books and 2310.7 million books to primary and secondary schools in poverty-stricken areas such as 23 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the central and western regions, fulfilling the beautiful dream of millions of teachers and students in poverty-stricken areas in the central and western regions and contributing to the development of education in China.
In addition, China Mobile also donated 30 million yuan to carry out the "Training Project for Rural Primary and Secondary Schools in Western China" in the central and western regions with the aim of "teaching assistants to help students improve school conditions and school management". Over the past three years, under the guidance of the Ministry of Education, the project has been successfully implemented, and 3,600 principals of rural primary and secondary schools in western China have been trained, which has played a powerful role in improving the management level of rural schools in western China and promoting the reform and development of rural basic education in western China.
