The Identity Background of Shi Dingtie's Selection in Ming Dynasty
Tiexuan (1366—1402), whose real name is Shi Ding, was born in Dengzhou, Henan, and his ancestors were Semu people. Tie Xuan was chosen as a gift by Guo Zisheng, and later transferred to the Governor's Office to judge the case. Because of Tie Xuan's integrity, decisive personality and quick thinking, many ancient mysteries and difficult cases can be clearly examined by Tie Xuan, and gradually gained the appreciation and recognition of Ming Taizu, as can be seen from the word "Shi Ding" given to him by Zhu Yuanzhang.
