"Hui School Plan" is an important part of ByteDance's donation of 654.38 billion yuan to the disaster-stricken areas in Henan. At present, more than 4,700 schools in Henan have been damaged by disasters, some of which are seriously damaged and need to be repaired or rebuilt urgently. The relevant person in charge of Beijing ByteDance Public Welfare Foundation said that the first batch of co-ordination funds for this donation is 60 million yuan, including donations from ByteDance companies and employees, and the funds will be implemented one after another according to the actual situation on the front line.

It is understood that Beijing ByteDance Public Welfare Foundation, China Education Development Foundation and Henan Provincial Department of Education will set up project offices to manage and confirm the use of donations.

Today, three schools have been built in Zhaocun, Lishui Town, Xingyang City, Heibei Village, Kangdian Town, gongyi city, and Xinzhong Town, gongyi city; Thirdly, in the post-disaster reconstruction stage, we will cooperate with China Education Development Foundation and other charitable organizations to provide post-disaster campus restoration and child care services.
