University of South China is the first batch of enrollment in Hunan, and we usually think of it as a university. University of South China is a comprehensive university established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Health and Wellness Commission, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China National Nuclear Corporation and the Hunan Provincial People's Government.

In March p>2, Central South Institute of Technology and Hengyang Medical College merged to form South China University, and in October 22, the Sixth Institute of Nuclear Industry was merged. The school is a university supported by the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions of China, an education and training plan unit for outstanding engineers and outstanding doctors approved by the Ministry of Education, and a batch of undergraduate enrollment institutions.
