Aoke-1 satellite.
On December 15th, the Macao Special Administrative Region and the National Space Administration signed a cooperation agreement on Macao's first scientific and technological experimental satellite-"Aoke-1 Satellite".
The satellite is scheduled to be launched in 221, aiming at observing the fine characteristics of magnetic field changes in the abnormal region of the earth's magnetic field over the South Atlantic, realizing the prediction of recent changes in the earth's magnetic field, and obtaining information such as the wide band energy spectrum distribution of high-energy electrons in the radiation zone, which is of great significance for studying related earth science issues.
Background
As the first scientific and technological experimental satellite in Macao, since the satellite concept was put forward at the end of 218, Professor Zhou Jun's team from the National and Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Microsatellite Technology and Application of the School of Aerospace of Xigong University, Professor Zhang Keke's team from the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Science of Macau University of Science and Technology and Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd., China Aerospace Science and Technology Group, have jointly conducted a large number of demonstrations.
Professor Zhou Jun said that in the future, Xigong University will cooperate with Dongfanghong Satellite Co., Ltd. to develop the "Aoke-1 Satellite", take the lead in the construction of satellite ground systems (data receiving stations in Xi 'an and Ningbo) and the construction of scientific and application systems in the Mainland, actively participate in the "Aoke-1 Satellite", a new cooperation between Macao and the Mainland in the space field, and make due efforts and contributions to the celebration of the 2th anniversary of Macao's return to China.
