Mangrove Foundation was initiated by Alashan SEE Ecological Association, public-spirited entrepreneurs and relevant departments in Shenzhen. Zhang, former president of Shenzhen University, served as honorary chairman and co-chairman. The Foundation was established on July 20 12. It is a formal foundation authorized by the official website for legal protection, so it is credible. It is the first environmental protection public offering foundation initiated by the people in China.
