Overall image: Most of them show strong political identification with Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", have strong patriotic enthusiasm, and trust and support the party; they affirm the achievements of reform and are full of confidence in China's future.

However, the enthusiasm for paying attention to and participating in political activities has cooled down, and political evaluation has shown a utilitarian trend.

In terms of life goals, they not only want to be "a person who realizes self-worth" and "a person who is successful in his career", but also "a person who is useful to society and others" and "a person who loves the country, loves socialism and loves the party";

The vast majority of college students emphasize personal hard work.

They have diverse characteristics in terms of value orientation. Most of them have the "civilian consciousness" of placing themselves as members of ordinary society in their hearts; more college students agree with "putting public before private, putting others before self" and "being subjective for oneself and objective

The "new new humans" have an objective evaluation of their own moral character. 61.6% think that their performance is average; 19.2% think that their performance is poor, quite bad, or very poor; and 19.2% think that their performance is good, quite good, or very good.
