China Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will set up a fund through individual donations. The existing donation funds are: Zou Chenglu Fund, which mainly rewards the authors of excellent research papers published in international academic journals (excellent research paper award, Zou Chenglu lecture award); Zheng Jijijin, a young scientist who published excellent papers in China Journal of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Young Excellent Paper Award); And the Ye Huilan Fund, which subsidizes outstanding young students to participate in academic conferences (Young Students Participation Award) organized by the Society.

China Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology holds an academic conference and a member congress every four years, and conducts academic exchanges by means of research reports and wall newspapers, and invites experts and scholars in various fields of biochemistry and molecular biology to make academic dynamic reports. At the same time, elect representatives of the Institute and elect the next Council. The current director of the Institute (the eighth session) was elected in 200 1. The chairman is Academician Xu Genjun (Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences), and the vice-chairmen are Li (Director of Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Shanghai Institute of Life Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Academician Wang Zhixin (Director of Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences) and Researcher Shen (Institute of Basic Medicine, China Academy of Medical Sciences).
