Interim Measures for the Administration of Postgraduate Scholarships and Grants of Southeast University

Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 These Measures aim to further deepen the reform of postgraduate education, improve the quality of postgraduate education, adhere to the people-oriented principle, improve the study, scientific research and living conditions of postgraduate students, and improve the treatment of postgraduate students.

Article 2 The postgraduate scholarship consists of state financial allocation, scientific research funds, student loans, social donations, postgraduate tuition income and self-raised funds of the school.

Article 3 Postgraduate scholarships include postgraduate national scholarships, postgraduate academic scholarships and Southeast University Education Foundation scholarships.

Article 4 Postgraduate funding includes national grants for postgraduate students, post allowances for postgraduate teaching assistants, scientific research assistants and management assistants (hereinafter referred to as "three assistants"), national student loans for postgraduate students, grants from Southeast University Education Foundation and grants from Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Fund.

Article 5 The school shall set up a leading group for postgraduate scholarships, which shall be responsible for grasping the policy priorities and formulating measures for the management of postgraduate scholarships. Overall leadership, coordination, supervision and evaluation.

Article 6 These Measures are applicable to full-time graduate students (except directional on-the-job graduate students) enrolled in and after the fall semester of 20 14. Postgraduates who receive awards and grants must obtain the postgraduate status of our university and have the nationality of China people.

Chapter II Composition and Standards of Postgraduate Scholarships and Grants

Article 7 For the standards and evaluation methods of national scholarships for graduate students, academic scholarships for graduate students and scholarships of Southeast University Education Foundation, please refer to the Interim Measures for the Administration of National Scholarships for Graduate Students of Southeast University, Interim Measures for the Administration of Academic Scholarships for Graduate Students of Southeast University and the contents of various award agreements established by Southeast University Education Foundation.

Article 8 Postgraduates who have obtained postgraduate scholarships can enjoy other postgraduate national scholarship policies, such as postgraduate national scholarship and postgraduate national scholarship, as well as other postgraduate scholarship policies of the school.

Article 9 For the application conditions and funding standards of national grants for graduate students, grants from Southeast University Education Foundation, national student loans for graduate students and excellent doctoral dissertation funds, refer to the Interim Measures for the Administration of National Scholarships for Postgraduates, the Agreement Contents of Various Aid Projects Established by Southeast University Education Foundation, the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Southeast University Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Training Fund and the specific provisions of the national student loans in that year.

Article 10 The standard of postgraduate funding (excluding funding from Southeast University Education Foundation) is shown in table 1.

Chapter III Application and Management of Postgraduate Scholarships and Grants

Eleventh graduate scholarships are evaluated once every academic year, and the school issues indicators at all levels. Each college (department) formulates evaluation rules and carries out evaluation, and the evaluation results are reported to the graduate school for approval.

Article 12 The number of posts for graduate teaching assistants and assistant managers shall be set by the school, the content and requirements of posts shall be formulated by the employing department and the college (department), and the graduate school shall be responsible for information release, personnel recruitment and management. Graduate students can apply according to their own actual situation. With the consent of the tutor, the graduate school, the employing department and the college (department) jointly determine the post candidates.

Thirteenth graduate research funding is the position set by the tutor according to the research project. Tutors are responsible for the assessment and provide scientific research subsidies, and the amount of payment shall not be lower than the basic standards stipulated by the school. During the internship of full-time professional degree graduate students, if the internship unit provides internship allowance, the tutor shall not provide scientific research auxiliary post allowance.

Chapter IV Distribution and Management of Postgraduate Scholarships and Grants

Fourteenth graduate scholarships, graduate grants, graduate research assistants and post allowances are paid to graduate personal accounts on time by the financial department according to the list confirmed by the graduate school.

Fifteenth from the month when the elective course credits are completed and passed the qualification examination, students with master's and doctoral degrees formally enter the doctoral stage, the original master's scholarship is cancelled, and they enjoy the doctoral scholarship treatment according to the school standards.

Sixteenth seven-year medical students in the sixth and seventh academic years are treated as full-time professional degree graduate students, and seven-year biomedical engineering students are treated as full-time master students in the fifth, sixth and seventh academic years.

Seventeenth from the date of official enrollment, master students and doctoral students enjoy postgraduate scholarships according to the academic system.

Eighteenth in the funding period, graduate students from the end of the month to stop enjoying scholarships. Scholarships will be suspended for graduate students who have been abroad for more than six months, and will be resumed from the next month after returning to school, and the total years of funding for these graduate students will be calculated, and the total years of funding will not exceed the academic year. The suspended scholarship will no longer be awarded.

Article 19. Those who are punished for violating school rules or academic misconduct will be suspended from applying for and issuing graduate scholarships within one academic year from the date of punishment, and whether to resume the qualification for applying for graduate scholarships in the next academic year depends on their performance; Those who have been punished by demerits above will stop the issuance of graduate scholarships and may not apply for graduate scholarships during their school days.

Article 20 Tutors must pay graduate students subsidies for scientific research auxiliary posts on time. The school will, as appropriate, notify the tutors who pay less or no subsidies for scientific research auxiliary posts, and restrict their enrollment in the next year until they stop their enrollment qualifications.

Twenty-first graduate students who have dropped out of school for some reason shall return their scholarships on a monthly basis, and the school shall return the remaining tuition fees on a monthly basis according to the actual study time of the students. Every year is calculated in ten months.

Chapter V Supplementary Provisions

Twenty-second graduate students with real financial difficulties can apply for national student loans to get financial aid. See the national student loan document of that year for specific measures. At the same time, the school has increased its financial support for graduate students with financial difficulties by setting up work-study programs, opening up a "green channel" for admission, and granting subsidies for special difficulties.

Article 23 The Graduate School shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Measures.

Article 24 These Measures shall be implemented as of September 1 day, 2065.

Southeast University, referred to as Dongda for short, is located in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province. It is a national key university directly under the central government and the Ministry of Education. It is a famous old Bajian school and one of the original four engineering schools.
