Does the joint-stock foundation have a business license?
Joint-stock fund refers to a form of fund composed of multiple investors. Joint-stock funds are unincorporated legal persons in China, and they do not need to obtain a business license according to the Partnership Enterprise Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). The establishment and operation of joint-stock funds are mainly agreed through partnership agreements, not through the issuance and registration of business licenses. Therefore, the joint-stock fund itself does not need a business license.
