Tang Yongqian (1965438+May 4, 2008-2065438+May 29, 2003), born in Yinxian County, Zhejiang Province, is a Chinese American and a famous industrialist. He used to be a consultant of Zhejiang University Education Foundation.
Since 1997, Mr. Tang Yongqian and his wife, Ms. Yao (1940 graduated from the Education Department of Zhejiang University) have successively donated money to establish and build Yongqian Activity Center, Yongqian Mathematics Building, Art Troupe, Tang's Chemistry Scholarship, Tang Yongqian Discipline Construction and Development Fund.
Mr. Tang Yongqian is also one of the founders of the North American Alumni Association of Zhejiang University. He devoted a lot of efforts to the establishment and development of the North American Alumni Association, and gradually established a warm "home" for the students wandering abroad.
