In addition, according to the regulations that new participants in all co-ordination areas enjoy benefits in the current month and the next month, when employees' maternity insurance participants move across co-ordination areas, they will go through the formalities of suspension of participation in the original place of participation, and if they stop paying fees in the original place of participation in the current month, the maternity medical expenses and maternity allowance incurred in the next month will still be paid by the maternity insurance fund in the original place of participation, and the subsequent maternity insurance benefits will be borne by the new place of participation. Maternity allowance is calculated and paid according to the average monthly salary of employees in the previous year of the employer.
