★ In 2, the first Olympic Chorus Competition was held in Linz, Austria, the country of music, and 15, chorus members from 6 countries participated in this grand event. With the support of former Austrian President Dr. Thomas Klestil, the first competition was a great success.
★ The second Olympic Chorus Competition held in Busan, South Korea in 22 was a great challenge to us. Due to the September 11th incident in the United States, which shocked the world, we were greatly influenced in the preparation and holding of the event. However, because the Korean government regards the Chorus Olympic Games as a formal official activity, and South Korean President Kim Dae-jung is the honorary chairman of the event, it has given great significance to this activity both at home and abroad. Although the number of participants decreased, it was a complete success in the end.
