Since ByteDance launched the first public welfare project "Headline Searching for People" on October 6th, 20, the public welfare projects in ByteDance have been solving practical problems for different people. Headline tracing project aims to help people who get lost find their way home. At present, more than 17000 families have been reunited. 2065438+June 2008, based on today's headlines, the "Information Accessibility Foundation" was launched to let visually impaired patients enjoy the fun brought by short videos; In July of the same year, the "Children's Paradise" project was launched for the construction of rural children's growth space. On the basis of these projects, ByteDance Public Welfare Department was formally established in 2020, and Beijing ByteDance Public Welfare Foundation was registered in Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau on August 14, 2004. Since then, ByteDance's public welfare has entered a new stage of development and developed into more abundant fields.
At present, byte public welfare has penetrated into many fields such as youth growth, rural development, emergency response, cultural heritage, digital inclusion and so on.
