Huang Yiming (1052- 1 130) is a native of Quanzhou, Fujian. Huang Yiming studied under Zhang Boduan, the "Mr. Zhen Wu" of the Northern Song Dynasty, and Zhang Boduan was a famous representative of Taoism and health preserving school.

According to Cheng Yanji, I have been diligent in reading since I was a child. At the age of 18, Huang Kou was familiar with many ancient medical documents such as Huangdi Neijing, Acupuncture A-B Classic and Qianjin Fang Yi, and was good at talking about Laozi and Zhuangzi. His cleverness and curiosity shocked the world. Even the famous scholar Liu Shucheng praised: a gentleman is a wonderful chess player!
