Mainly engaged in the teaching and research of Dunhuang studies, Sui and Tang history and Northwest history. * * * undertakes 9 courses, including general history of China, general history of China, ancient history of China, history of Wei, Jin, Sui and Tang Dynasties, history of Sui and Tang Dynasties, literature unearthed in northwest China and research on medieval history, introduction to Turpan studies, historical philology and historical geography of China.
