"Earth Hour" is a global energy-saving activity proposed by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to cope with global climate change. It advocates that at 20:30 p.m. local time on the last Saturday of March every year (20: 30 p.m. Earth Hour time on March 26th, 2022), households and business users turn off unnecessary lights and power-consuming products for one hour to show their support for climate change action.
Climate change caused by excessive carbon dioxide emissions has greatly threatened human survival on the earth. Therefore, only by changing the global public's attitude towards carbon dioxide emissions can the public reduce the impact of this threat on the world. The theme of Earth Hour in 2022 is "Action! * * * Create the future ". On March 26th, 2022, many places around the world participated in Earth Hour activities.
