Li Zhengdao, born in Shanghai, 1926, was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu.
During the Anti-Japanese War, I studied in Zhejiang University and The National SouthWest Associated University. From 65438 to 0946, he went to the University of Chicago to study for a doctorate, and studied under Professor Fermi, a master physicist. He was awarded the 1957 Nobel Prize in Physics for discovering the law of parity non-conservation and Yang Zhenning. He has made many outstanding achievements in the field of physics, won various awards many times, and has been active in the forefront of physics so far.
In China, we strongly advocate the importance of basic research, promote Sino-US cooperation in the field of high-energy physics, and help build the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider. He founded many academic organizations, such as China Advanced Science and Technology Center, suggested the establishment of postdoctoral system, improved the natural science fund system, and founded the Sino-US joint project of recruiting physics postgraduates, which made important contributions to the development of science and education in China.
He is currently a professor at Columbia University, a member of the American Academy of Sciences, a foreign member of the China Academy of Sciences and an Italian Academy of Sciences. He is an honorary professor in more than ten universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, China University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University and Fudan University. He is an honorary doctor of more than ten universities, including Princeton University, Rockefeller University, City University of new york, Columbia University, Bologna University and Peking University, China.

Li Zhengdao's research field is very extensive, and he has made great achievements in quantum field theory, elementary particle theory, nuclear physics, statistical mechanics, fluid mechanics and astrophysics.
1949 cooperated with Rosenblat and Yang Zhenning to propose the universal Fermi weak interaction and the existence of intermediate bosons. 195 1 points out that there is no turbulence in two-dimensional space in hydraulics. 1952 cooperated with Piness to study the structure of polaron in solid state physics. 1954, the famous "Lie model" theory in quantum field theory was published.
