The total length of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway is1318km, starting from Beijing South Railway Station and ending in shanghai hongqiao railway station, with a design speed of 350km/h and a total investment of 220.94 billion yuan. It is the longest and highest standard high-speed railway in the world, and it is also the largest investment construction project since the founding of New China.
